The future house is planned as an 85 m² single-floor retreat, blending the character of a traditional stone home with the comfort expected from a modern holiday rental. The design will keep the feeling of an old Mediterranean house while creating a warm and practical interior for guests. It will be ideal for two people, with the possibility of two additional beds. Every detail is planned to support a feeling of calm, privacy, and simplicity — a place for resting, reading, cooking, walking, relaxing, and enjoying the landscape.

The property offers a wide panorama across the farm, forest, sea horizon, and nearby islands. Sunsets from this position are expected to be one of the most special parts of the guest experience. In the future, we plan to add a small open-air whirlpool positioned to enjoy the view, creating a private outdoor wellness experience. A small spa or wellness corner is also planned, offering space for relaxation, massage, and quiet recovery after time spent exploring the island.

The Stone House Retreat will also serve as a peaceful base for outdoor exploration. From the property, guests will be able to access hiking and mountain-bike routes without needing to use the main road. As part of the Three Sisters Farm project, guests may also experience the surrounding gardens, food forest, seasonal produce, and farm atmosphere. The retreat will connect privacy and comfort with the wider story of regenerative farming, local food, and island nature.

With no neighboring houses or villages nearby, guests will have a rare opportunity to enjoy silence, nature, and open space in complete peace. The story of the house is deeply connected to the history of the land. According to local memory, the last inhabitants were three hardworking sisters who lived and worked in this rugged landscape together with their strong bull. They cultivated the surrounding fields, growing corn, grapes, and other crops in difficult conditions. The sisters never married and lived a simple, solitary life shaped by work, resilience, and a close relationship with the land. Old island houses were often built on higher ground, where they could receive more daylight, better airflow, and protection from humidity. This house carries that same wisdom. Its stones are part of the memory of the place, and our goal is to preserve that feeling while giving the building a new life. The name Three Sisters Farm is partly inspired by this story - a tribute to the women who once lived here and to the enduring connection between people, land, and survival.
